he has been on a leash his whole life at my house.
the thing is - we don't have any luck with cats that go outside on their own and he "obviously" loves to go outside - so that's the only way - supervised play really!
When J and I were first married we had a big orange cat - Fred. When we moved into our mini home, we had to put him on a leash. Instead of a collar, I decided to get him one of those body collar things. Anyway, the friggin' cat was so big, we had to get him a dog one!!!

silly kitty, we use to put our cats on leases and the old timers (neighbours) made fun of us, country people.
Do cats like leashes??? I might get Lewis one for Christmas.

my cats were never too fond of a leash, its an acquired taste...LOL
