So....aren't many deets here are there???

so I'm leaving Sept 14 going to Minneapolis - flying to Montreal on Sept 18 - meeting Wes (who is driving with my sister) - driving on to a Wedding in Deep River, Ontario - Attending wedding on Sept 19, driving back to Montreal on Sunday - going to Minneapolis on Sept 21 - then back home on October 2 - phewf -

Hence why i couldnt push the crop out either - i didnt want to have to dump the whole thing on someone else :( I found out the crop for the cure was the same weekend - after the hall was booked etc - and then knew something was coming up with travel etc - i was stuck between a rock and a hardplace - and quite honestly wasnt at liberty to let everyone know what was going on at that point (travel - as it wasnt confirmed).....

...Work...Work....Work.....

Well if you've been wondering about how i'm doing at work here's the answer....

I'm doing fine...No i'm not losing my job - thankfully i have another position to go to - there are lots of great ppl that do not though :(

About this position - it's based out of the US - and yes i have to travel there - I'm leaving September 14 and will return the first week of October - (I dont have exact dates at this point as I have to book my flights today) - Another challenge for Wes and the girls - for sure - they are 'on board' and know it's something I have to do - for the family and for me - it's darn better than not having a job at all i must say :)

NEWS!

Ok Where to begin?

First off - I'm excited and nervous and not excited!! (all for very different and very important reasons)

Drumm roll please......

1) I'm going to Manila, Phillipines in January (nervous, little excited) for FIVE WEEKS (not excited about this--my poor husband and kids--I wish they could come with me!)

2) I was offered a position today! (yes the position I applied for a few weeks ago!) Well how does that affect #1 - well they advised that "they would wait - cause they wanted me". So I'm sure there were some closed door discussions about this and I was offered the position to begin Mar 1 - (the other person that also got the position was offered as of January 1). So this is AWESOME! But makes me NERVOUS and also the transition period makes me sad - - I have to go to Vancouver --probably from Mar - June - not too bad... But that means that the others all have a "head start" on me - I don't like the thoughts of that...hehehe - you know I'm a high acheiver..lol

I'm so stinkin' busy at work I feel like I'm going crazy - and DH is getting "pissed" that I'm not home enough and keeps mentionning those 28 yards of fabric so I better get going!!

Well got to go now and think about what I'll wear for 5 weeks in warmth!!
