hey - quick update....almost 900AM here

I went down for breakfast this morning - very "canadian" stuff..eggs...any style, bacon, sausage, potato something...some weird looking stuff, fruit, breads, muffins, croissants a whole bunch of stuff!!....... ..it was beautiful! and only 660.00 - but not dollars - Pesos I think!! ( company pays for it...not sure!)

we toured the pool and the gym - the pool looked fantastic - and was warm (like bath water) and the gym...well it was a gym - haven't used teh chopsticks enough to go there...LOL

here is a view from my room--they aren't the best pics but when I get more I will post! Oh I guess the pic actually sucks alot...you can see palm trees though right? and a tennis court?

here is my departure gate pic in Hong Kong: (turn your head to the left sideways to read....those charachters say Manila) --all signs (well 99% of signs) are in Hong Kong letters (is that chinese or japanese??--i will find out) and in English.

Remember I was talking about mountains on the left in the airport? you can faintly see part of the mountain here - but it was HUGE - i would say it's 10 times taller than the one you can see --we could barely see the top and then we weren't sure if that WAS the top- notice the smog? it's smog - and it was like 3 or 4 pm there....not nice!

This my friends are my very expensive coffee and my coca cola light......

Well I hope to get out today and take some upclose pics...not through a glass.....

Hey wes do you feel like I'm an animal in a zoo?? the only thing you've seen of me is looking out through glass!!

Oh and one last pic...me in my hotel...a self portrait!

Ummm...the water was the South China Sea...and they speak Chinese in Hong Kong. Used to be under British rule, then reverted back to China, blah, blah, blah. Lots of useless knowledge here.

Glad to hear you are doing well. You're doing a great job keeping the blog updated! I know we are all checking it with great anitcipation.

Glad things are "homey" in regards to lodgings and food ... will make the transition a lot easier.

Your going to have a gym and pool at very own disposal to use as you please! Right on!!!

I love the pictures keep them coming!

Jay, how in the WORLD did you know that really? My Minto High School Education didn't give me that much LOL!

I can credit those two tidbits to the Love Boat and the Discovery Channel.
