one block wonder!

Well this quilt is a wonder in many many ways!!

Aunt Bea was in love with the one block wonder pattern- she brought me a "cut out" quilt which we pieced together- it was blue and yellow - I gave it away to my brother and my sister in law for Christmas :)

So then I wanted to make my own - and cut it out myself :)

So here is the process -we chose the most garish fabric we could find lol

I had this quilted by  Gwenda and Eugene Mattinson - they Did a wonderful job!!!

We gave this one to my mother in law for Christmas! She loved it!
