Help Wanted

Anyone know where I can pick up a food dehydrater cheap?

Also anyone know the best type of apple to dehydrate??

Any suggestions would be great..I'm about a week behind on a certain project and would love to get in the lead..I mean
caught up.

I've just used my oven, I didn't want to go buy a dehydrator. I just did a quick search and it says to have it at 120-140F with the door open a bit. It works great! And, I'm pretty sure I just used Macintosh and pretreated them with lemon juice. I can't remember if it was pure lemon juice or a mixture though??

I had one but I'm not sure if I threw it out or not. I'll check the garage when I get home. It has/had 3 levels for dehydrating.

Yep, just preheat and a quick dip in lemon juice. I also have a 3 tier one :) that was another christmas brain wave I had one year of making cinnamon tree ornaments with the apples on them! LOL
