Rest in Peace...

I know Mel posted about this...i started commenting and thought I should probably just type it out here...too long for a comment.....

so....this weighs so heavily for me...so many thoughts going through my mind.
...about the kids that passed.....about the kids that survived....
....the coach that survived......how he must of felt..and must feel....he was responsible for those kids....and this tragic accident happens...I dont care who you are---you will always wonder what if....to lose those children...and your wife.....and have your child witness this.....their daughter to have survived and witnessed this......robbed of her momma.....and I'm sure the scene was horrific....how could it have not been.......

this will be such a pivotal moment in everyones lives ---- those that survived ---- and those that are left behind....it could be bad if proper counseling isn't provided.....so much tragedy for so many people...I honestly hope that bathurst has enough professional help for all of these people affected...I mean there must be thousands of people affected by this....look i'm affected by this...and i dont know these people personally......the teachers students....her family and friends, those 7 boys all the people that they have played against....their family and friends...its so far reaching.......

it just makes me so sad

on the news last evening the mayor was being interviewed and they asked him at the end what his wishes are for the future.

He said he spoke with the Premier just after the funerals and requested the Dept of Health be prepared and have extra staff in the area to assist these families in need, the school and the students and the people, he said its not today or next week they need it but in a few weeks time or even a months time.

I thought that was brilliant, one because the Premier will look like a dork if he doesn't do this and two b/c the community so needs it available when the time comes.
